Ball chains are especially suited for men's necklaces, and look fantastic with DragonWeave's exclusive line of Japanese kanji symbol pendants. Also known as bead chains, ballchains are also commonly seen worn long with dogtags. These ball chain necklaces come in two metals: sterling silver, which is a bright silver, and nickle-plated steel, which is a darker silver, more like gunmetal.

Stainless Steel Ball Chains

1.5mm Steel Ball Chain

Stainless steel 1.5mm ball chain. 1.5mm is a finer gauge chain, smaller than standard size and works well with smaller charms and pendants. Stainless steel is darker than sterling silver, more affordable, and less subject to darkening over time. This chain size can be worn with charms and pendants, or alone. Gunmetal 2mm Ball Chain

Gunmetal colored nickel-plated steel 2mm ball chain. 2mm is a standard size ball chain, similar to what is used for key chains, and works well with smaller charms and pendants. Gunmetal is a dark plating, and as such can be subject to wearing off over time. Available in 15", 16", 18", 20", 24" and 30" necklace lengths, and as 7" and 8" bracelets. Gunmetal 4.8mm Ball Chain

Gunmetal colored nickel-plated steel 4.8mm ball chain. 4.8mm is much larger than standard key chain, and is best worn alone. Gunmetal is a dark plating, and as such can be subject to wearing off over time. Available in 15", 16", 18", 20", 24" and 30" necklace lengths, and as 7" and 8" bracelets. Custom lengths also available. Great unisex gunmetal chain.
