These sets of 25 rune stones come in a variety of semiprecious stones and make great gifts. Every rune has a different meaning, which is described on the rune description sheet included in the set. Also included is a fabric pouch to hold your runes.

Runes were used by the ancient Nordic people as a magical language. Their uses ranged from writing messages and making charms or talismans to predicting the future. In Anglo-Saxon English and Old Norse, the word rune meant secret law or mystery. Rune Masters, who could be male or female, were considered to be the most important people in the community next to the village chief. Identified by their deep blue cloaks and the leather charm pouches, the Rune Masters would normally carry a bronze-tipped staff carved with runic inscriptions to show their power and status.

Rune Stones Set

Twenty-five beautifully engraved semi-precious rune stones, a rune description sheet detailing the meaning of the runes, and a fabric pouch. The set is boxed in the rune-covered cardboard box perfect for gift-giving. Handcrafted in Brazil, the stones are 3/4" to 1" long, and the engraved runes are painted gold.

Available in: amethyst (purple, shown), aventurine (green), clear quartz, hematite (metallic gray), onyx (black), rose quartz (pink), and sodalite (blue).
