Runic astrologial pendants in handcrafted sterling silver. Each zodiac sign has its own special rune and semiprecious stone combination. The meaning of the rune is explained on the card on which the pendant is mounted. These make fantastic birthday gifts, especially for those with an interest in astrology and runes. Runes have their heritage in Nordic mythology as well as Celtic culture. They were given to the god Odin as part of his enlightenment from the great Tree of Life, and used for writing and occult spellcasting by high priests and other 'magic' users in both Nordic and Celtic traditions, and for divination by Pagan religions. Each rune pendant comes with a loop for attaching to a chain. We suggest silver chains or leather cords to go with these pendants.
